Last week on three seperate occasions.i had fainting do's.By that i mean i felt really dizzy and my heart was fluttering.Well i saw my Doc,because the third one nearly laid me out in Sainsbury's.
Well to cut a long story short. My blood pressure is a bit iffy and i will be going to the hospital for heart tests.
But get this i was singing yesterday in church and once again felt light headed.Went outside for some fresh air.But today i have done all this and nothing.
Cleaned and polished two rooms, moving furniture.
Cleaned four large windows inside and out.
Filled two wheelbarrows with leaves out of the front garden.Levelled out some soil.
Walked down to Meanwood for some shopping.
And not even out of breath not a flutter. What is going on? Boy am i confused.

Sometimes it is like that. I haven't figured all the direct causes for my dizziness, sometimes it just happens and sometimes I can't, for the life of me, make it happen.

I had a similar heart thing going on about 15 years ago and had my heart monitored for 24hrs. I was told there was nothing going on. Hardly surprising as I was laid up not doing anything for the duration of the test. In the end it was decided that it might be down to the effects of caffine and was told to stop drinking coffee. So out went my jar of decaff coffee.

Didn't make any difference and every now and again I still get a fluttering heart beat that leaves me feeling faint for an hour or so.

I would still recommend following up on any tests as you may have something going on that I don't have. Don't rely on the reassurances of some unknown nutter in the internet to decide you are perfectly ok.

I could still have some undiscovered problem as the doc has been dismissive of any thing else as the tests showed an all clear on a day that nothing happened. Had the test been on a different day it might have told them something more useful to me.

Sounds a lot like low blood suger (Hyper/or is it Hypo glycemia.. whichever is latin for less?) or possibly low blood pressure. Either way Knight train is spot on.

don't listen to us, listen to your doc.

Same thing happened to my Mum. She reported palpitations, and was eventually given a monitor to wear for a day, on a few occasions. Each time, nothing happened. Eventually, she actually had the palpitations while she was at the doctors for something else, and they sent her to hospital, where they monitored her, and.. nothing happened...

She was put on Statins, which she's since come off, since they didn't seem to do anything but give side effects.
