Is there anything that can be done to remove this from the ads that are promoted to us cyclists here

example below, but I get a constant stream of similar, inviting me to look up celebrity women's skirts etc.

It probably makes me an old fuddy duddy, but I think it's really poisonous to be bombarded with this all the time.

Agreed.

If I posted links to revealing images of women I'd expect to rightly be the target of the moderator's wrath.

I don't either.
But I do pay the paltry yearly sum to 1: not have the ads. 2: To support this great forum.

Didn't even know there was an option! I'll do that. I'd still like to know if site owner agrees this is problematic or not, and whether it's possible to do anything about it.

Or you can use the Brave web browser. It blocks most adds. You have to scroll to the bottom of the page for the installation instructions.

I have no ads either on this forum though using Firefox and Duckduckgo seems to automatically enable an ad blocker for many sites. When I come across a website that complains about my ad blocker I tend to think carefully about proceeding. Do I really want that service enough to temporarily disable it? Mostly, not.

It might be argued that most of us have already had plenty of our data trawled already, and maybe a little more won't make much difference but I just object to the view that providers are entitled to your data by default, and you have to take positive steps to block access instead of it being the other way round.
