Does anyone have a contact at Shutt that isn't listed on their website? They've not responded to numerous phone messages nor to emails.

I'm currently £80 out of pocket and not happy

The owner Peter is currently seriously ill in hospital at the moment.
Keep trying the phone number and speak to one of the girls there.
There's only a few people in the company so can imagine everything is up in the air at the moment.

That is ignorant.

Because you have never heard of them does not mean many of us haven't. Nor does it mean we haven't enjoyed their hitherto excellent service and products.

Thats from a year ago and the owner is still obviously receiving treatment for what seems to be a very serious health issue. I think they are a great UK company and have never had any issues with them.

I'd picked up the fact that they're having difficulties via their Facebook page. I can understand that a small company might struggle in those circumstances, but to have no response at all (except an automated email reply telling me they'd reply within one working day) is a bit much, especially given that my credit card was charged about 3 weeks ago.

Even a generic email telling me they're struggling, or a statement on their website to that effect would be been better than nothing.

I'll try calling* again, but if there's no response I'll have to see if I can get my money back through my credit card company.

*Talking to one of the people who answered my call I believe the phone number goes to a switchboard who deal with more than one company and they just pass the messages on.

There's still a slim chance they can satisfy me, but I strongly suspect that they won't. If that is the case they'll have lost a potential customer for ever. Which will be a shame.

That's fully understandable @simon.r and would be a great shame. I'm really not sure what the future holds for the company. When they are on point they are fantastic with great service and as I said previous, probably some of the very best cycling clothing one could buy.
I really hope they can sort themselves out.

Seems I jumped the gun. The first "knowledge" I have of them is rather negative - easy to jump to conclusions
