Just got some new wheels

Although not sure they are actually what I wanted  (impulse purchase an that)

Athough as they were second hand, in good nick, and quite a desirable item I should be able to sell them on easily

Anyway, enough nonsense and smileys. The hub on the rear is fixed/free. I don't care for a freewheel, I have my other bikes for that kind of cheating. And besides I can't put a rear brake on my new frame so it'd be pointless anyway. I quite fancy having the option of swapping over to a smaller sprocket should I want to race or whatnot, so can I convert that freewheel side to fixed?

Having said that, do velodromes frown on extraneous sprockets?

you can fit one, they're known as suicide hubs

As long as your not skid stopping it will be fine
Use the "rotafix" method for tightening up your cog
