Converting 12 speed downtube shifters..

is it possible to convert 12 speed downtube shifters to bar end levers?

Is there an instructional video telling you how to do it or manual or something?
Is it a simple task to do?

You would need bar end levers (obviously), new cables, and some screw on cable stops to replace the down tube shifters. It would also probably need the bars re-taping afterwards so you may need some bar tape.

It shouldn't be that difficult if you are used to replacing brake and gear cables. Not sure of any videos on it though.
