Cophenhagan's new Cykelslangen

Apparently they have just put up a new elevated Cykelslangen - or cycle snake - in Cophenhagan to ease congestion around the harbour. Looks pretty cool to me, and a far cry from the painted line on the road that constitutes a cycle lane in the UK.

I can see 2 cycles on it in the photo.
Edit - Possibly 4 but my screen resolution ain't that brilliant

There is 4 bikes on there and peds share cycle tracks some of the time in Denmark.

Paul, you are correct bikes in the UK are traffic. In Denmark we are bikes. I have ridden in both countries for years and I know where I would rather ride.

As you suggest this was an arty photograph to illustrate the Wired article - from the look of it, it may even have been an architect's mock up.

If it was a Real photo there would be about 700 bikes on there. It is KPH after all.

I was going to say the photo was fake; it opened in June and there's snow on it.
