the only thing that got me about this video is that her jacket is edged with blue and grey chequers which imo is far to close to impersonating a police officer.

I had to take my other half to the minor injuries clinc the other day to get a 2 inch cut in his scalp stitched (well they stapled it actually). He hit a tree.

We need helmets for joggers, I tell you!! It is the only way!!!

Seriously, and on topic, it sounds as though the horse riders didn't feel they were getting a lot of support from the police over poor driving either.

That story is pretty close to home. Strange that I havent heard of it before (on recent news).

Stoopid drivers - a horse spooked by a close pass can do a lot more damage to a car/person than a bike can

My other half rides horses a lot, including on the road, and some of the overtakes she gets are as stupid as the ones we get on bikes - might have to lend her my helmentcam. It takes a particularly stupid driver to get that close to a ton of potentially-scared animal being ridden by a person armed with a whip...

As an aside, riding horses is great, and as a cyclist you'll find that you've already got the leg-strength and balance to make learning a bit easier. Give it a try if you get the chance!
