I remember 10p a pint night at the local nightclub in Wakefield, gave you a right headache next day though.

I used to work at Rooftop Gardens Wakefield, Monday 10p a pint night!

I remember the legendary Rooftop Gardens Monday nights - attracting people from all over Yorkshire. Best thing was they kept running out of pint glasses behind the bar but halves were full price! Had a few ropey Tuesdays at work after a night in there.

I think it was about 90p.
Its a bit vague though

Same here, between 90 and 95p a pint in most local pubs for everyday lager (Miller or XXXX), I remember it was a couple of pence more in the lounge bar than in the tap room though - although it was only 70p a pint in t'working men's club... Stella or Lowenbrau were expensive at £1.10 a pint, so hardly anyone drank them.

I do remember when the price of a pint went above £1. There was a right old hoo haa.

I can still remember ordering two pints and being asked for £2.02, when they'd only cost me £1.98 the week before. I had to sit down for a minute after that...;)

I remember happy hour being 50p a pint or a short, 20 Benson and a box of matches for a squid. Proper night out with a bite to eat and club entrance for a tenner.
