I'm off to the Cotswolds next week, and rather hoping that I may get an opportunity to have a quick pedal out one or 2 evenings. Anybody here local, or cycle the area much? I'm staying in Moreton-in-Marsh and a few route idea's would be nice.

There's loads of quiet country lanes round there though I don't know of any specific routes you'll be spoiled for choice. Also there's a great bike shop called Cotswold Cycles , might be worth popping in there for some routes.

The Ordnance Survey Landranger map is your friend. Stay off anything coloured red. Yellow is lovely.

There is a "yellow coloured route" over to Chipping Campden. Worth a visit. I don't know of one but there must be a cafe. Broadway Tower has a cafe alongside and a great view over the Severn and Avon valleys while Snowshill nearby is a lovely scenic Cotswoldy village.

Enjoy

I have been thinking about doing a weekend trip with the OH to Cotswolds too! Any other nice areas worth staying in - coming up from Hampshire so perhaps staying more the southern areas of Cotswolds? Cheers!!
