Just wanted to give a shoutout to a bike mechanic who happened upon me walking with a broken chain (no chain tool - I'm getting one now, honest), stopped and fixed it for me. (I'm sure someone else passing would have eventually both a) asked and b) had the appropriate tool with him, but this chap was the first!).
