just come back from a fantastic day out at the cotswold wildlife park just outside of burford , and i can not say i have ever seen such a happy bunch of well looked after animals in a great clean and tidy surroundings .

go and enjoy yourself for a day out and take the family too

I love it there, so peaceful and yet there's something fantastic round every corner. Did you see the capybaras? And is General Woundwort still resident in the petting corner?

yes to the capybaras not sure about general , loads of differant animals and birds not sure i could pick a favourite

Every time I've been, we've taken a picnic but yes, there's at least one place - they do excellent ice cream.

Yes, I could take a picnic to eat, but I would rather not carry too much round with me all day.

I suppose I could munch a sandwich and have a flask of coffee in the c*r, then just have a drink or an ice cream.

What a fantastic place Well kept, happy animals, happy punters, not too expensive. I'm a grumpy, pedantic, critical git but came away from there grinning like a grinny thingy. I love it when it works (it = anything).

just had our 3rd visit to this fantastic place today and i cant believe we had wild Lemurs running and playing at our feet , giraffes eating straw or hay with one foot away and 3 white rhinos less than 2 feet away .

i cant put into words how great this place is . and it has to be the best zoo,wildlife or animal centre we have been to

go and visit you will not be sorry

Sorry to drag this old thread up , but we had a day here yesterday and once again it was fantastic visit .

Highlights of the day included watching the underside of a Snail pulsing as it slid up a pain of glass it really was amazing , next up were the 2 baby camels who were like lambs frolicking they were really happy and enjoying themselves some other visitors just walked past them without even looking ,finally the Female lion has had cubs and is away from her partner who was roaring away and didnt sound happy about the situ but lovely to hear .

And how amazing must it be to have white Rhinos walking around outside your house .

So yes we can recommend it go and enjoy yourselves
