Hello,

I recently purchased this frame: https://www.ebay.com/itm/334586889803

Decal says SLX. However, I don't see any ribs on down tube and seat tube. Also, does anyone know what size seatpost does it take. What do you all think?

Welcome. Nice looking frame . I seem to recall this has cropped up a couple of times and also on Retrobike. Seems to be a bit of a mystery tubing. If all else fails then digital calipers to measure the seat tube?

Beautiful bike. I had an Reynolds cougar. Yeah Terry Dolan was the main frame builder there. Boardman would use a resprayed Cougar in his early continental pro days.

If its SLX it will have rifles in the bottom bracket area in the seat tube, down tube and chain stays. The bottom of the fork steerer will also be rifled.
