I have been going around in circles trying to identify this frame for months and I keep coming back to Holdsworth/Claud Butler. Any help or input is appreciated.
nice lugwork for sure , cant read that frame number
Not very clear on the picture but it's 1566
That's what I thought but would the early Holdsworth made ones have followed the same sequence?i thought old clauds were longer frame numbers than that

The frame was blue when I bought it and has since been repainted. At some point in the past it had been repainted blue and lost it's headbadge and decals.how has the bike changed from orange to blue? or am i being dimwitted?
Ellis Briggs had 4 digit serial numbers. I had an enquiry and they can trace the bike from the number. Give them a call or email and they will reply
Detail at the fork crown is different on my one, but the rest looks good for a match......
