No. We never ever drop the "1" from years, so you can't just take things from the 19th century by subtraction 1000. Anyway, we are going to need these again in a couple of weeks, when we get to 1829.

If you want to use years, you can use 829, and commemorate "King Egbert of Wessex invades Mercia, ousts his rival Wiglaf and attempts to rule directly from Wessex. He is recognized as overlord (bretwalda) of other English kingdoms." Or 829 BCE, the start of the reign of Pedubast I

(Yeah, I know there were some Napoleonic war ones before this, but yours was the first one I found stepping back)

True, true, but we have been posting images where the number needed has been part of a larger number long before now anyway, so these aren't any different really.

Besides, one can reuse numbers like 1829 - See it as being like a bit of historical recycling!
