I've been working on remodel plans for the kitchen and I really fancy a table rather than existing breakfast bar. The existing has to go to allow reposition of fridge freezer and addition of a tall unit able to take broom/mop/ironing board, etc. There are lots available online but they all seem to be the wrong size or not quite right in other way so I thought of making one or having one made.
I want to achieve drawer either end, width 900-1000mm, length 1800-2000mm and height about 950mm. I can buy a piece of worktop off the shelf that suits so I'm just looking at a support frame. I was thinking something in chunky wood, it doesn't seem that complex.
Any ideas or does anyone on here make this sort of stuff?
