Coventry cyclist down

Just seen on BBC breakfast news that a cyclist was killed in collided with a car yesterday.

Chap who died is a former colleague of mine, lovely bloke. I'm devastated, and so angry at the shambles that is Toll Bar island, for all users. Even now they are saying they won't make any changes to make it safer http://is.gd/BKhgfB

I drove through this junction saturday 27th December on my way home as the M42 was chokka. It was a nightmare. A46 meets the A45 which are basically motorways, at the entrance to Coventry airport, massive road works and cones funnelling traffic here there and everywhere. There is no way I would ever dream of riding through or around it on a bike it was bad enough in the car.

Still RIP to the cyclist killed.
