Covid pass scam

At 3:19 this morning a text came through to my phone telling me to get my Covid Pass or face a fine.

"NHS: You are now eligible to apply for your NHS COVID Pass. Failure to apply may result in a fine. You can apply for this here at: https: // get-nhs-pass . com"

As I can get my covid pass from NHS App. I knew this was a Spam.
I've passed it on to 7726 OFCOM's spam reporting No. but thought everyone needs to be aware of this.

I had that Scam come through too. Very obvious one really.

I got the same text but I went on the government website (not following the link) and got my pass. Is it worth pointing out that such a service exists, but not to follow the link?

Erm, if the scammers get loads of spam wouldn't it serve them right?

Hardly likely in the context of the post that anyone would click on the link thinking it genuine.

My Nigerian financial adviser told me to stay away from that link but helpfully proferred some links to which I have exclusive access. I can say that the new Covid Gold Pass was well worth the considerable expense and will be trying it out shortly. I will expect the promised VIP prestige treatment usually reserved for royalty.
