The fact that so many people have said they see nothing wrong scares me.
Surely as the most vulnerable road users we should all want to change bad driving into good even if it is because we, as individuals, are being selfish and don't want to get hurt/killed by idiot drivers such as the one in the clip?
Yes the thread title was a bit off but I agree with what the OP had done. He saw bad driving, had evidence and reported it. I would've done the same. This attitude of reporting bad driving should be encouraged so that those drivers that get away with what they do (y'know, jumping red lights, using mobiles whilst driving, fog lights when unneccesary, speeding, close passes etc etc etc.) will have to think twice before doing something stupid.
I should think a chat/letter from the police (yes they're already stretched but that is not our fault, if you are bothered by this then campaign for more officers and get onto your local MP asking for their funding to be given back) will affect probably 80% of drivers and they will improve. The other 20% are most likely those that would drive whilst banned/without insurance/without VED/without MOT anyway and I don't know how they should be dealt with.
Mostly though, give the OP a break. This is normally such a friendly community.
*edit to add - I made those stats up btw.
