Nice one ! No need to beat yourself up about not cycling after it . Just get on the bike when you feel like it and do it again .
Now you know you can do it and what YOU need for that mileage there is nothing stopping you .

Good result there Shout-a-lot, for you and your mum. Get yourself on the next FNRttC from Hyde Park Corner to Whitstable, that'll be an easy 75 miles (ish) ride, then ride back home from there after breaky, 100miles sorted-bosh-Tuesday!

Very well done Charlotte!

My advice on the 75 is don't build up to it too much just crack on and do it. Planning it to the Nth degree will make it seem bigger. Pick a nice day, bike out, BOOM, job done.

Repair kit, leave at home and fix busted tubes on a non riding day. I'll take a spare tube and to back that up some Park self adhesive patches. Don't want to be faffing with glue, I want to be riding!

Keep those wheels turning :bicycle:

Well done. I still remember my first 50 miler - with a mate and his dad to go and watch some motorbike trials. I don't remember anything about the motorbike event, but I remember the ride there and back.

Re the punctures: Having the confidence that you can resolve this not uncommon problem on your own will do wonders for your sense of freedom. Changing a tube isn't really a difficult job, and you can practice it at home.
