Crank bearing pre-loading tool

Looks like Im going to be replacing the chainset and bottom bracket soon, so I have been youtubing video to see how its done.

At 8 mins and 10 on this video he used a "Bearing loading tool", I havent seen one of those on other vids, will this tool come with the chainset or is it something else to buy?

My crank (FSA MegaExo) has a preload bolt (which I recently stripped) just holds them together before you tighten the crank arms to the shaft.

Depends on your cranks, though I don't think its the most important part, and even then would probably only cost you a few quid (I got one on the end of my BB spanner for some other crank system).

It's something else to buy. They are not expensive.

I have a tool to get the old square taper one out, but not the one for the hollowtech.

Parkers isnt too far from me, so driving there costs about the same as delivery.

If it is a HollowTech II BB be aware that 20p coin will do the same job as the tool mentioned here. Just hold it with a pair of pliers and undo the cap.

It's something else to buy. They are not expensive.
