Found out about this scheme http://www.crashcard.co.uk/ for motorcyclists, the basic idea is that you carry a card with medical/next of kin & medical history details on it, for motorcyclists they say to put the card in the lining of your crash helmet,as the ambulance service are trained to remove them, you then put a small round green sticker on the side of the helmet so that the emergency services know you are carrying the card, surely this could also be widened to include cyclists too, i know things like Road i.d are available, but this is free and could prove to be a life saver, what does everyone else think

I did mention road i.d, as i have one, however they are expensive by the time you paid the taxes on them

Where would cyclists keep their card?

Put them in your bibs, but seriously a back pocket or the card could be in sticker format on the helmet, but in principle I think it's a good idea.

I have an SOS talisman and recently I got a road ID bracelet. When I had my last accident I was wearing my SOS talisman, but the medics did not find it, even though I had a sticker on my helmet.
I now where both, so if I am unlucky enough for it to happen again maybe they will find one or the other.
