Creaking bottom bracket on newish bike

Many a time I have traced a BB creak to actually being the saddle or seat post.

It’s not the press fit bb that’s the problem ,it’s poor tolerances on the frame
some manufacturers are worse than others but everyone just blames it on the bb
ive three canyons all will cheap shimano press fit bbs and no creaking

to be fair i have had the bike with a PF30 3 years now since i made the necro quoted post and no issues so maybe im lucky in hindsight .

Blimey, was this 3 years ago? Where does time go? After having the BB regressed, it lasted about 6 months with careful management (no wet riding, careful when washing it etc). I complained to Orro and they sent me a new PF bracket. I’ve had the new BB fitted but haven’t ridden it since. I bought a new bike with a threaded BB because I need the bike for commuting. I’ll be selling the Orro soon which is a shame, it is a lovely bike and so comfy to ride.
