I sit here now with weary legs, a filthy bike, and a strange inner glow.

Longest one for me so far, and not to bad considering I got very little training in beforehand.

Well that explains why my legs are so tired.

To be honest I have been trying to increase my cadence (I'm a natural grinder), and tried to keep it above 80 (ish).

Oh the protesters were a joke. 15 people and one placard stating "get mass cycling out of our Forest". Small tip here, it's not their Forest, and we didn't once enter the Forest, we remained on the Queens highway the entire time.

Did mean we had a small Police presence, but that wasn't a problem.
