Creating a shortcut in Mozilla Firefox?

Since the refurb the shortcut on my desktop no longer takes me to CC, it just opens a box inviting me to select a programme to open a file.

Since I created that shortcut I have gone over to using Mozilla Firefox - how do I create a new shortcut on my desktop? Mozilla doesn't give me that option when I right click in this page.

Dont you use your browsers 'favourites' tab?

Delete your old shortcut.
Open the CC homepage in Firefox.
Make the Firefox window a bit smaller so you can see both it and your desktop.
Left click and hold down on the little Cycle Chat symbol just to the left of the website address in the Firefox address bar, and drag it onto your desktop. Release left mouse button.
