Not a candidate for B&W. Long lens.
Photographing (and stacking) the small ones has proven to be a challenge, as I discovered again this evening. The soft ground doesn’t help in that the tripod moves slightly when manually focusing.

I suspect you're having fun learning what works and what doesn't.
I was thinking about the fun factor and if I’d get as much satisfaction using a new camera and macro lens with in camera focus stacking. I’d surely get better productivity.
I’ve toyed with the idea of buying macro bellows for huge magnification, but the realities of using that setup in the field has put me off…so far.
I don't particularly enjoy editing, so maybe I'll stick to the larger subject blurry stuff.

An old subject for me (Valence TGV station), but all the structure caught my eye in this light. One for @rjsterry (but I think he might have gone AWOL).

Valence station can only mean one thing- end of French hols.
@rjsterry has been gone a while now.
I'm still alive!
Just absolutely snowed under with work.
Anyway, a diptych of sorts if that's not too pretentious. Christ Church Spitalfields just a couple of hours apart.

Ha, clone tool job done, and it was a lot easier than I anticipated. I used a few reference points to line up where I cloned, and it's worked quite nicely.
