Great light which has lasted me a few years already. Quality differs depeing on who made it but I've been impressed with mine. I wouldn't run it on full anywhere other than an unlit trail/woodlands. If you're on the road keep it pointed well down and on low.

Must admit i agree re keeping it pointed low on full power

For me rear lighting is a combo of 3 different lights a Lezyne 180, Moon shield and a Exposure flare all usb rechargeable one on steady and 2 flashing in the dark.

On the front i have been using 2 500 Lezynes and keep a smaller Halfords 180 as a back up but after reading this thread think i will buy a Cree front as they seem to not only be a lot brighter but less expensive, the lezyne 500s only last about 90 minutes on full so its a bit of fun to keep lowering power when on light roads.
