Cree XM-L T6 x3 helmet mounting

I was thinking of buying one of these.

Does anyone else run one on their helmet, and if so, how have they mounted it?

I would buy the single T6 cree offering from Amazon at £17.49
It comes with charger,battery pack and the helmet/head mount.
I was so impressed that I have bought another one for the hybrid

Thanks. I was looking at that one, but then got tempted by the higher output.
The helmet mount on yours - is it ok? Would it work on a normal cycling helmet?

I tried it on once, fits on my head ok, but not something i will use. Will try it on the helmet tommorow

Also where does the battery pack go while helmet mounted?

The cable from the light is quite long and so is the lead coming off the battery pack. You could slip the battery pack in a jersey rear pocket.

Buy a Trustfire 502b torch for the helmet. Use that 3x T6 on the bars. Got one myself, and the 3 LEDs is only just brighter than 2.

Make sure you have a backup as it uses quite a lot of juice on low power as one T6 running on full, where as single LED units can run on low, medium and full.
