90-1 off the power play, Smith out for a very brisk 37 off 24 balls. Had a life early, not the most disciplined bowling ever but its probably more runs than he got in 3 games at the CT!

50-1 off the next 10 with the field back. at least we havent lost a clatter of wickets but the run rate was somewhat becalmed....

WIndies not really offering a full challenge this year unfortunately. Sad to see.

Proper cricket starts at 10.20 this morning though. Here's hoping for a decent match.

I think the hunch that Smith might be good as an opener is proving its worth. I quite like the cut of his jib. He's very aggressive but plays proper shots, playing the percentages in the powerplay. Him and Duckett are a decent combo.

Aussies have started poorly at Lords Vs the Saffers in the World test thingy. Good toss to win for the Saffers with a lot of cloud around.

Top 3 back in the hutch for under 50.

4 down at lunch. Interesting that Cummins said he was happy to be batting. Saffers really do have a great bowling attack. Mind you, The Aussies aren't too shabby either. Could ultimately come down to 1 big innings by a batter from either team.

Could be an interesting day at Lords today. SA should win with only 50 needed but they have a bad habit of not winning trophies whereas Australia do. I keep checking the score and it’s hardly moved, too much bazball…

Slight wobble but comfortably home. Awesome knock from Markram. Always good to see the Aussies humbled.

Their "gamble" of playing Green as batter and pushing him into the top 3 spectacularly backfired. A specialist opener and leaving Labus at 3 was the way to go on what was always going to be a tricky pitch.

I’m pleased for SA. I’m not sure the tournament makes a lot of sense but it’s good to see them succeed.
