Sadly another good position squandered by us and now looks like they could knock these off at a canter.

They have over 3 days left. They could score at less than one an over and be done inside 3 days!
The English batters need to be taking time and runs out of the game.
Even if we do win this match, it isn’t test cricket as I know it.

England batted for 62 overs.
That's both their innings.

30 wickets fell in 5 sessions - that isn't test cricket.
I still maintain this new Perth pitch isn't of test match standard, and has clearly favoured the bowlers far too much.

That said, Travis is going to try to finish the match today, isn't he.

Michael Vaughan is absolutely livid on 5live
I thought he was going to cry at one point.
But I agree with him, the batters absolutely blew their chance this morning.
In the space of 5 hours England lost 9 wickets and Aus scored 200 runs!

I agree in part, but this style of play we adopt has been the approach since Stokes and McCullum took over. It is high risk and high reward but they aren't going to change. Sometimes it is brilliant and other times we look very stupid! England cricket fans kind of have to accept it as it won't change!

Do they though at some point you've got to think is it worth spending money watching this level of arrogance. It's ok for stoke and co they are not the ones saving up good money to see crap like this.

Very fair point. I expect it is the arrogance of an elite level athlete. You have to believe in your approach 100% and get tunnel vision owing to this. As it still brings them test wins I suspect they see it as effective and perhaps discount the reality of the losses as a result of that.

England were outbazzed by a bloke called Head, who only opened because of a happy accident. The omens aren't good.

Pathetic. They were in a great position overnight and even at lunch then through it away. I only ever want to see a competitive series, if they win thats a bonus, if not that’s sport. Feel sorry for the fans especially those from UK who have day 3,4 and 5 tickets.
