Jofra Archer currently batting like Ben Stokes in the IPL. Rajastan need to win to take the final play-off place and we’re in trouble when Archer came in up the order to bat at 7. Currently 32 from 14 after a slow start.

Jinxed him and he was out next ball which is good as KKR technically have a chance to make 4th place later in the final game if Rajastan lose (will need to be a huge win though as they are 0.3 behind Punjabi on NRR.

Rajastan ended up with 20 more runs than they probably should have done after Mumbai had got into a really good position

Watching the T20 now and the one Indian player just retired out after getting bogged down. Never seen it before.

Edit - Rodrigues was the replacement and got out for 1 off 2 balls.

Yes, typical. If India hadn't dropped her down one place in the batting order, the retirement wouldn't have been necessary and the pressure wouldn't have built while Batia got a little stranded. Freya Kemp played really well for England.

Anyhow, 1 - 1 and all to play for.

1st test time.

NZ win the toss and bowl on what will surely be a seamers paradise - recent rain - cloudy overheads.

Can see England having a bowl later this afternoon is England continue to play wafty drives trying to be positive. The well judged leave is your friend today I think.

What is going on with test cricket?
Not easy batting conditions but both teams have been very poor.

Annoyingly I other things to do after our innings so turned on Today at the Test fearing the worst.

What a comeback.

Ollie Robinson, take a bow fella. Chuffed for him, seems a genuinely lovely fella.

Yes my prediction of a seamers paradise has come to pass. Ideal conditions for Robinson (and others).

There weren't many dismissals (a couple of misguided "leaves" aside that you thought the batsman had a rush of blood. Brook holed out, but at that point he'd run out of batters at the other end and was in the "get some quick runs before I run out of partners mode" I guess he was hoping to clear that fielder and put it in row G.

It will be crucial to knock NZ over quickly this morning. Its the sort of game where one stellar knock or a good partnership will win it.

Yes, it will be one big innings that tips the balance. Root v Williamson or…?

27 lead on 1st Innings for England. Five-fer for Ollie Robinson :bravo: Jamieson having a yahoo or two to limit the damage for NZ

Henry possibly not able to bowl. There are definite arguments for some controlled aggression against NZ's remaining 3 seamers..

Its mad the 3rd inning is starting before lunch on Day 2. Under 70 overs bowled so far in the game. The ticket refund bill is going to be high.....
