Does anyone have any experience on Surly Cross Check frame sizes?
Looking at their size chart - http://surlybikes.com/frames/cross_check_frame/ - and taking into account my 5'8" height, I'm erring towards a 46cm frame, possibly a 50cm.
Any opinions?

I could ride the 62 or the 58 from a standover perspective and get each to fit with the correct seatpost, stem and bars combinations. I would have thought the 46 would be way too small. Do the inside leg measurement, get a straight pole and straddle it with your feet flat about shoulder width apart. Pull it right up to the bone, ignore any dangly bits, and then measure from the top of the pole to the ground. Theoretically that is the tallest standover height you should go for. Some places, like Rivendell Bikes, might even recommend going bigger than that.
