Reminds me of a story my history teacher told me (probably every histroy teacher has the same story....).

Anyway, he was doing his Russian A level and it had some text in Russian which the students were simply told to translate. So one student did...into Serbo Croat. They had to find a person fluent in Russian and Serbo Croat to check his work but it was faultless and he got an A.
