Looking for a crown race setting tool, reasonable price, that will do various sizes and will fit tapered head tube

If it is for a fork that uses cartridge bearings you don't need one. Just cut a slot in the race (Which in this case is just a locating ring for the cartridge, not a bearing race at all) and it will slip on easily.

I use a local 'Bike Kitchen' when I need access to tools I don't want to buy because I won't use them much - £4 for an hour of bike stand use plus access to bike-shop quality tools, with 6Music on in the background, and as a bonus I don't get interrupted by the rest of the family :smile:

It's the cheapest of the headset tools and the first one I bought. Somehow I progressed to a reamer/facer and a crown race cutter, all Cyclus. I had a lot of steel bikes with iffy headsets - they're all perfect now.
