I loved Aracauria.@jefmcg Bad cryptic clues are irritating and without meaning. But a good cryptic crossword by, for example Araucaria (RIP) of The Guardian newspaper, is very satisfying. It can be a wonderful experience solving a crossword together with someone. Both struggling and feeding off one another's ideas.
