I would be extremely cautious about being involved. Remember they are in the business of entertainment and they are very good at manipulating people to obtain it.
lawks!
I do know that the Cosmodemonic Telly Company are doing a thing on helmet cams (and that Maggers, Gaz, Bentmikey and a few others, including one of Bentmikey's drivers, have been contacted) but this is another company.
Cosmodemonic's researcher tells me that he's been very taken with people telling him that cycle commuting is, most days, straightforward, and that the kind of incidents that fill youtube are a relative rarity. Having said that, programmes created out of police work, whether it be Interceptors or Crash Scene Investigators are not going to mainline on 'went to work today, nothing happened' - but, then again, a thread entitled 'rode to work today, nothing happened' would hardly go boffo in 'Commuting'.
Telly isn't real life. It could be more affirmative of life's pleasures, and the majority of cycling programmes are exemplary in that respect. People will offer up footage, and it will be used. If they want control of the way it's used then they had better stay away, although I can say that Cosmodemonic's intention is to put footage in context and to commission footage to show both the good and the bad.
