[whisper] I think she's still there - managed to 'miss her flight' ...
Sorry to disappoint but I did catch my flight. Now back home after a fab last day of my holiday. Bolstered by @gavintc's tips and suggestions from the hotel, I sallied forth and went exploring. I wouldn't describe Naples as restful but it was adventurous. I slipped going down an alley way and two chaps in a van leapt to my rescue. When I saw them again I realised they were rag and bone men, mainly when a ladder slid off the back of their van.
I remembered I had seen some metal left out a few streets earlier but my Italian wasn't up to explaining that and if it had gone by the time they had got there then they would have taken me for a complete idiot.On the way home I sat next to a young Italian couple and they let me amuse their seven-month old baby so the flight passed quickly and the baby and I had a lot of fun.
Didn't get my bottom pinched so I didn't have to make a claim on the insurance.
