Is there adequate cycle parking?

I think there will be space to lock bikes on a Sheffield stand somewhere - Matt or User will be able to say for definite. Just bring your lock and if we need the extra security we can always lock several bikes together etc.

Me being of the extra paranoid type after a spate of bike thefts will probably take my front wheel in with me and leave the nicer bike at home.

I'm not going to make it. I'm still having trouble walking let alone traveling.

I'm sorry to hear that you're still not doing so well. If there's anything you need, just say.

Get well soon mate

cycle parking - in plain sight of the window, and we will all of us keep half an eye on them. Big locks. This isn't a dig at Tooting. Streatham Hill and Balham are worse. There's a lamp-post outside.

Mine's going under the table.

There are stands nearby, but if they fill up there are a more dotted around the high street. I'll bring a spare lock as I'll be walking down (carrying beers in a tote bag no less).

In a bizarre loss of common sense and awareness, I just found myself consuming chicken tikka for Lunch... What a moron! I will have to throw caution to the wind this evening and have lamb-something.

See you there.

The medical rep who normally brings in butties for lunch at the clinical meeting decided to treat us to curry today!

Never mind - I plan to be there and meet this gang of reprobates.

I'll be wearing a yacf jersey - don't shoot me!

Hee hee - I will be popping in from 8:30 p.m. onwards for a cheeky naan - hope this is OK chaps? That will make it three known spottings of a Clarion in a week

gahhh...I've left my front light at home  Would anyone happen to have an emergency front light that I could borrow briefly and return to pretty please?

By that were fun!

Eleven of us in the end, all sat round yakking, most drinking the beer which kept being produced by Origamist and Dellzeqq I think, and all eating far too much.

Great food and lots of it came at a very very reasonable price. But the company was even better.

Hope to see you all on the road.

btw, H_W, you should have asked me - I'd got my Hope Vision in my saddlebag that I don't really need now I have a Cyo. You could have borrowed that no problem.

Ah well. Too late now. Hope you got sorted.

Thanks mate - in the end the lovely Grace helpfully provided me with her cateye.

That was a brief but wonderful foray into Tooting Land. I have never been cycling down there in that there foreign place and as I was saying to the others it was elysian beautifulness compared to the badlands on the A202.

I got there just as the majority of folk were paying for the bill but it was awfully nice of the rest of the chaps to stay with me as I ordered some food. My Kabab Karachi with garlic naan was gorgeous.

It was so good to catch up with you guys, and the added surprise of seeing Mr Allsopp too :hello:

The ride home held bumpy bits and it was awesome being at the heights of Crystal Palace.
