The only way you'll please people on here is to go out and get run over twice! once wearing a helmet and once without.
That way they could debate endlessly the merits of wearing/not wearing headgear and in the process bore the living daylights out of the rest of us, AGAIN!
Get back out there and try not to let the incident prey on your mind and spoil the enjoyment you get from riding
