I was fortunate enough to get to the Botanic Gardens in Sydney a while back and see the thousands of Flying Foxes that roost there, beautiful creatures with inquizative faces, we stood there for ages watching them.

A few years ago a tiny bat was in our spare bedroom, we were concerned it might not be able to get back out again so TVC picked it up and put it in the ivy we have growing up the side of our neighbours conservatory, protected and there were bugs should tiny have been munchy. Utterly gorgeous, tiny toes

I was in a cave some years ago - flat out crawl - almost a squeeze - and a bat came fluttering directly towards me. he swerved up a few inches and flew over me - couldn't have been more than 2 or 3 inches of clearance
