CX/touring wheels

I'm in need of some new wheels for my crosscheck. I've pretty much decided on A719 rims, but can't decide on hubs: Hope Pro 3 are really stretching the budget, XT 770 reliable, cheaper, makes sense - but I'd prefer cartridge bearings. Any other hubs I should consider?

Laberinth sealed Shimano 105s?
Personally I would go cup and cone unless investing a lot like say Royce for example.

The sealed bearings on the Zenith's are open to the elements though (similar to the On One hubs) so that rules them out. Considered road hubs, but they're more expensive than the mtb equivalent (Ultegra v XT), I also want 135mm rear.
