My non-drinking may interfere with this but should it coincide with a weekend when I am partaking then I'll certainly be along!

There was talk on Sunday with Dave about having a barbeque/picnic in a park somewhere now the weather has turned.
But could probably be saved for later in the summer when we're guaranteed (possibly) some nice hot sunny weather.

I like the riverside pub idea or somewhere with a beer garden.

What a good idea!

Weekday evening or weekend?
Where?

I'd prefer a weekday / Friday and somewhere central-ish seems sensible. For pubs on the river prob need to head in or out a bit. But to set the ball rolling, there is an All Bar One on Shad Thames (close to Tower Br south side) that is right on the river with lots of space.

There's also the Founders Arms next to Blackfriars Bridge that is right on the river. I'd avoid places like The Anchor at Bankside and the Thameside Inn as they get ridiculously packed when it's sunny.

Hmmm... we haven't had a party for at least four days Frank.
I'm missing you already!

I understand Frank - let's give our respective entourages something to ponder on...:girl::girl::girl::hugs::smooch:

(Don't worry - think of the autographs you'll need to sign. we can't help it if we are viable commodities in the wider world of cycling.)

I stumbled upon one of Luke and User's workout videos (Hipster certificate Level One) Take a look.

All Bar One at The Shad is the only one I can think of as well that has a large outside seating area with a river view, is accessible and bearable.
[/quote]seconded. Great place for a meet. You can lock your bike to the railings and keep an eye on it.

Otherwise - there's this bikeiste place just down the road from Old Street...........

Quite a bit further out, the Roebuck in Richmond has plenty of outdoor space (over the road but they're OK with people taking glasses over), railings, nice views.

That would suit a few of us, but may be a bit more awkward for others.

And this was the view from outside that pub on Saturday
