Ah, sorry Diffo, I wasn't sure if you were meaning "defo" or something. 
As I said elsewhere, and Jamie said above, your posts / threads won't appear in your "what's new" list as they aren't "new". When you open a thread, it is marked as "read" and doesn't appear under What's New until someone else has replied.
