Yes, I had looked at those bags a while ago: really cool!
If you could "invent" a strap like in Sara's bag (OP) to attach the bag to the bike's handlebars, I would promptly buy one from Arch ... or two ... or three

I couldn't see any image on Sara's link so I googled and got this.

Any idea how the bag attaches to the bars? Not that we'd copy it but it would be interesting to know.

Is the coat warm? We are talking just above freezing most of winter

My lands end coat is more a mac - I bought a bigger size to fit layers under! I prefer it that way cos its very hill where I live, so I can add or remove layers depending if I'm going uphill or downhill!

Its really natty at the back - it's got two loops made in the same fabric as the faux leather trim that fasten over the handlebars with press studs. then another strap ar the back fastens round the stem for stability. on the bottom there a magnetic strap to tuck the shoulder strap under so it doesn't get caught up in anything.
All the straps tuck away to look just like decorative trim.
I'll take some photos and upload them when i get time.

Sara: that would actually be ideal, if it does what it claims to do (would the sleeves let water in during a wet ride, for example?)
Even the price is not so bad, I would end up wearing it at least 8 months a year, with our weather, so It would be cost effective.
Colour choice could be a bit brighter as well.
We need a review: who wants to spend £ 130.00 to try this chic coat for cycling?

I have a raincoat from Water off a Duck's Back but not the Cassandra that you are looking at, I think that is new to their range since I purchased mine. I got mine about 18 months ago to wear when I ride my Pashley and I got the ladies cycle macintosh (they still have this on their website). The main problem I had with this coat is, unlike the Cassandra, mine does not have buttons but is secured with just a belt. No matter how tight I tied the belt it would work loose so I ended up wet down my front and despite the clip on the hem of the coat, I still ended up with wet thighs as the coat rucks up as you cycle. The coat itself was waterproof, I was dry everywhere else that it covered, but then again at the time I was working at my local hospital so my cycle to work was only 3 miles. Now I just use it to walk the dog and on one very wet morning I used it to go to work as I have a long walk to the bus stop now I am working in Oxford.
