Are there any UK holiday companies who organise cycle holidays outside the UK.

Steve
Loads. But a lot of them want you to use their bikes. Which may not be a problem.

Inghams - the Ski Tour Operator, have launched a Danube ride for the first time this year. Having looked at people like Headwater (who I believe are good but expensive) the Inghams deal seems quite good. Nothing like cheap, but the deal includes flights, 4* hotels and various other odds and ends like boat trips, as well as the all-important (to me anyway) service of taking your luggage from place to place for you. People I know who have done this kind of trip say it is their best-ever holiday, and they are not hard-core cyclists.
They also do other cycling holidays, I notice while looking for the link!

If you go to google.co.uk and search 'cycling holidays' you'll find plenty.

exodus
inntravel
headwater
cyclebreaks
The CTC
skedaddle
Freedomtreks
Freewheelholidays
et cetera

I ended up booking one with skedaddle for this year but I wanted Scottishland as destination.

We usually organise our own cycling holidays but we thought we might give it a go.

I have also notice some of these companies include comprehensive routes on their websites, which we find quite useful.

Thanks for your help.

I'm willing to bet this trip is actually run by the Upper Austrian Tourism people, who do a whole range of ones along the Danube and elsewhere. The slightly-dodgy translation in the link gives it away.
www.radurlaub.com is well worth a look - we used them for our Danube trip and they, erm, inspired the planning for our Lake Constance ride.

Now that is VERY interesting. Particularly as the prices in Euros are very similar to the Inghams prices in GBP. Much food for thought, there. Many thanks, Doc.

Others not mentioned that I'd recommend from personal experience are:
Redspokes
Painted Roads

They both do long haul stuff.

Where do you want to go? There are others who specialise in particular regions.
