Cycle lane outside of the door zone

    It's kinda outside the doorzone. If someone totally flung open their door there still might be an incident. But I like this :smile:

    4 me, it's wide, big bold and although cars aren't excluded, drivers will be aware they have to drive against the centreline or straddle lanes. It does what it should - it advises drivers to be aware of cyclists (which they should anyway of course)

    How did those cars park up without driving on the cycle lanes?

    It's not a mandatory cycle lane, i.e motor vehicles can enter it if required. If it had a solid boundary line, they would not be allowed to enter the lane

    It looks like a good lane to me. Fairly wide of the door zone.
