Having just "got back" into cycling I realised I had not done any bike maintenance since I had my 3 speed sturmy archer back in 19whatsit........so I booked and attended a 1 day at Edinburgh Cycle Co-op in Manchester.
Very good and highly recommended for those like me who had no knowledge but plenty of fear factor.......will the bike fall to bits if I turn that screw:eek:.
There were 4 others on the course and we all felt the benefits.

Before I found out about that course I booked a 2hour freebie at Evans Cycles and will attend that tonight.
Just thought I would point this out in case others are in a similar situation

Describes me spot on! Another excellent tip from this forum I must follow. Ta!

I will add to my experience at Edinburgh cycles advanced - best money ever spent.
As long as I have the tools, I can strip any of my 3 bikes down to component level, rebuild the AND THEY WORK!!!

Brill course, mixed gender and abilities
Best buy following the course... A bike hand stand - a godsend
