Assume you pay 10% more than the advertised price presumably. It's explained in the link?

Additional Payments
An admin fee of 10% applies with cyclescheme.co.uk, On Your Bike and Bike2work vouchers, as well as Salary Extras. A 12% fee applies with Cycle Plus vouchers and a 12.5% fee applies with the NHS SME HCI scheme.

We keep our prices competitive by selling at very low margins. All of these third-party organisations charge us a fee on each bike we supply to a customer for administering the scheme on behalf of your employer. We pass this exact charge on to you without adding anything extra ourselves because our pricing is too low to absorb it. The additional charge DOES NOT APPLY if an employer is paying us directly for the bike.

Outstanding balances may also exist if you have opted to purchase a bike with a higher value than that covered by the voucher and which has been agreed by employer and scheme. It is your responsibility to check with the employer and scheme to ensure this is accepted by them before placing an order as we cannot be held accountable if this is disputed at a later date.

We will contact you to settle any remaining balances once we have received your voucher/purchase order and will then progress your order for the bike to be built and delivered once the payment for the outstanding amount has been made. If there are any major problems with stock or with the build itself, we will contact you to make you aware so please ensure you have supplied us with a valid contact number to reach you on.

Synapse gearing is "easier" with a 34 ring and the 32 rear should you need it.

so lower gears? both bikes look good, id want at least 28s on it with mudguards,

found this one that i like http://www.evanscycles.com/products/pinnacle/arkose-three-2014-cyclocross-bike-ec054866 but only have large in stock, id need XL, could local shops still have them in stock?

edit - just checked and the synapse can only take clip on mudguards

They're a German company, I'd be surprised if they do c2w which is linked to HMRC in the UK. Someone posted recently about their lbs would order from canyon and set up a bike for a fee. I expect. You'd need to find money for the service beyond the c2w limit even if they will do it

May be worth emailing a few lbs to see if they would order it in, if they put on some mudguards they can have the full £1k

edit: ive emailed several lbs locally to ask if they would order it in or suggest an alternative, lets wait and see what happens

im sure ive seen rose advertise in UK magazines

It's already £950 odd, plus £30-40 for mudguards, add 10% say, you're t £1100

But you can ask...I expect they'd rather sell you a bike they stock however ;)

Why not just buy on an interest free CC, gives you far more buying power, can go for reduced older models etc

e.g. http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/products/giant-tcx-2-14?bct=browse/bicycles/cyclocross-bikes

The colour scheme of the Rose is also an abomination ;)

well ive asked them to suggest an alternative so they may come back with some ideas

i looked at this bike in a lbs yesterday and it was at £1050 so thats a great price. leaves plenty for mudguards etc

dont think i can cancel my c2w voucher now so no option but to use it
