Well, now all the Jubilee bunting has disappeared, I thought I'd see if there was anything of interest (or even nearby) for the cultural Olympiad.
A search, and finding anything much doesn't see to be very easy, turns up Cycle Song.
Thinking about it, I much preferred the Jubilee - just a big party. No aspersions to anything cultural or giving a lasting legacy and I suspect the party will linger longer in peoples memories (I remember the Silver Jubilee) than anything the cultural olympiad leaves behind.
