I was just wondering what kind of gear one would need for such an epic tour? Would my T2 decathlon tent suffice? Will my Trangia light? Do I need to worry about weight?

Hmm...and where do I find the campsites?

You've been OD'ing on Dr. Ferrari's Astana Beans haven't you?

I'd be delighted to have a BMI of a mere 5.5 or thereabouts.
Is the snorkelling in the sea of Tranquility any good?
With a name like that, I expect the surfing's a bit crap.

I think you'll need a lot of weight to stand a chance of getting any grip on the surface! Mind you, you could probably get away with a racing bike frame with a rack fitted . . .

You'd definitely need to take a couple of thick paperbacks with you. The moon is probably a bit like Loughborough or Hanover but maybe with a bit more atmosphere.

I'd most definitley and absolutely consider taking your Trangia - they work in any conditions by all accounts. If you bring the larger version it can double up as a Lunar Evacuation Module.

If you fancy a quick evacuation.
