Cycle Virus

I got an unearthly virus on my Windows 7 laptop a few days ago while surfing cycle sites . In minutes it had created over 100 dodgy files which no amount of cleansing could deal with . I wiped the hard drive today and am typing from a squeaky clean puter and am going to restrict my cycle surfing to 30 minutes a day

Too late now but something like Malwarebytes (a free package) probably would have found and removed the dodgy files without you having to reformat.
